Real-estate developer (Madinet Masr) has signed a memorandum of understanding with lifestyle–design firm Qwell to build Egypt’s first integrated residential community specially designed for seniors. The project, located within “Esse Residence” in Sarayat, includes 78 units engineered to accommodate mobility and comfort needs of elderly residents, combining independent living with community design and support services. The initiative aims to redefine elderly living standards in Egypt by offering housing that ensures dignity, independence, social integration, and security—reflecting a strategic shift toward targeted real-estate solutions for demographic segments beyond traditional family housing.
