The Board of Directors of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) approved a package of incentives to encourage developers towards Sustainable Green Building in new cities. This applies to new projects and those under construction with less than 20% completion (Non-retroactive).
Starting June 30, 2026, major cities like New Cairo, New Alamein, New Mansoura, and the NAC will be deemed "Green Cities." One of the "Pyramid Certificates" (Preliminary, Bronze, Silver) will be mandatory for all projects, with incentives granted based on the certificate level.
Joint committees will be formed from NUCA and the Housing and Building Research Center to review projects, confirming that obtaining incentives and certificates requires strict application of sustainable design and construction standards.
The concept of real estate in Egypt is shifting from mere space to sustainable value and operational quality. Concept IMD guides you towards the developers leading the Green Race to ensure your investment complies with the new global standards.
